Fox to 'Dance' again for ninth season

Fox renewed summer reality skein "So You Think You Can Dance" for a ninth season. The series finished No. 1 in its timeslot among adults 18-49 in its most recent season. Fox is planning a summer 2012 return for "Dance." The network experimented with a fall edition of the series in 2009, but otherwise has been content to keep it airing during the summer months -- more so now that "The X Factor" looks like a stable if not spectacular fall performer.
