Baseball Rain Delay Pushes X Factor to Thursday, Thursday's Episode to Air Sunday

A two-hour rain delay for Game 4 of the American League Championship Series has pushed the first judges' homes episode of The X Factor to Thursday night, Fox announced late Wednesday. Reid's guest mentor The episode, which was supposed to air immediately following Wednesday's match-up between the Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers, will now air Thursday. That in turn will push Thursday's scheduled episode, the second part of the judges' homes visits to a special Sunday timeslot at 8/7c. As originally planned, the third and final episode of the judges' homes round will then air at 8/7c on Tuesday. However, it's unclear what will happen to The X Factor schedule should the American League Championship Series go to a Game 7, which would air on Sunday. In place of Wednesday's scheduled episode, Fox will air a rerun of The X Factor for viewers on the West Coast .
